Passport Caziness

Tyler and I will be leaving in 7 weeks and 4 days for Brazil. We are going down there to pick up my parents who have been serving a mission in the MTC there. I have been once before when my parents and I picked up my brother. My passport is still good but it is under my maiden name. I was not aware that for international flights your name on your ticket has to match the name on your passport. The airline won't let me change my name on my ticket. Because of that I have to get a whole new passport.

I went to the American Fork Post Office to get a new passport(Because it was closest to Liam's preschool). I waited in line for ten minutes to find out that they don't do passports there. I than go to the post office by the mall in Orem. I fill out the paper work and turn it in. I find out I filled out the wrong form. On top of all the waiting in line Lyncoln messed her in her underwear and there is no bathroom in site. I'm just glad it wasn't coming out of her underwear and it wasn't a really big mess. She did stink and feel bad if anyone else noticed the awful smell coming from my daughter. I finally got the right paper work to take home. The nice post officer worker informed me that it would be cheaper to get my passport picture taken at Costco rather than there. Did you know you aren't allowed to show teeth in your passport picture? How strange is that? I will have Tyler's and mine paper work done tonight than I have to pay extra to rush it. As soon as I get our passports back I need to apply for visas. Another fact there are about 25 countries that don't need to have visa to get into Brazil the US is not on that list. Dumb if you ask me but what can you do? I just hope everything goes well and we will get our visas and passports in time for our flight on February 28th. The ups and downs for traveling out of the country.

I'm Back

We had a great Christmas this year. Tyler made a feast for Christmas Eve we had some friends over that night. Of course I forgot to take pictures. Seth was so excited for Christmas that he woke up three times during the night to ask if we could open presents. We finally gave in at six in the morning. Seth woke up Liam and Lyncoln and I had to go wake up Laide. Everyone loved what they got some more than others though. Lyncoln like the Buzz Light-year and Woody toys the boys got better than her own stuff. Tyler did a great job surprising me and I loved everything he got me.

Here are some of my goals for this upcoming year. (they aren't in the order of which I'll do them)

Take more pictures of my family(at least one a month of each child)
Attend the temple once a week
Read my scriptures daily
Pray daily
Finish the book chosen for Book Club even if it's hard for me to get into it
Make more cards
Work out at least 3 times a week
Eat healthy(so please do not send treat my way. I need to stop eating so much sugar)
Be more organized
Use a nice voice with my children more often rather than yelling
Blog at least once a month

Okay there are just a few. I have been told that you are more likely to reach your goals if you write them down. Plus I let all of you know so now I have others to be accountable to. Please encourage me and ask me how I'm doing on my goals.

Happy New Year to all of you.
